About me

I have completed a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling and a TA101 certificate in Transactional Analysis. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of practice and ethical framework. I am also a committee member of the Hampshire Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (HACP).

I am ICO registered for adherence to the GDPR, hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am fully insured.

I have extensive experience with alcohol and addiction issues, having worked in this field withing the NHS. Through this it has become clear that almost all such related issues are the result of previous life experiences and trauma, often very complex. Exploring and unravelling this can help to understand provide an understand of who you truly are, making an enormous difference to your life.

Coming from a military family and having also worked extensively with veterans, I am very well versed in the emotional issues and difficulties encountered by this lifestyle. Not just veterans, but serving members and their families too. The issues presented by PTSD are often made more complex by previous life experiences, as can the military lifestyle itself.
